Adding a little *green* to your summer scene has never been easier! Since the start of Covid-19, many public events have been postponed or canceled. We’re starting to see that change! 2022 has an impressive lineup of conferences and festivals all centered around cannabis or hemp! We’re going to take a deep-dive into some of our favorites. Each festival showcased is canna-centered around music, fun, and all sorts of recreation! Some feature an impressive line-up of panelists that will discuss cannabis education, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. Other’s focus on sustainability and environmental safety and awareness! 420 Festivals
Fly High 420 Fest (Pamplin, VA)
Fly High 420 Fest is a 3-day camping festival held in Pamplin, VA; it’s hosted on a 40 acre private farmland! According to their Facebook page, “ Fly high 420 is a private farm experience for you to heal your soul, enjoy nature, vibe out, & check in with your higher self. Watch your favorite bands, artists and performers
from the comfort of your own tent. You can’t miss this unforgettable outdoor experience under the bright stars on the farm.” Sounds exciting, right? We thought so, too! This festival begins Thursday, April 21st and lasts until Sunday, April 24th. They advertise access to beautiful hiking trails, sights, and animals. They also feature a myriad of local and surrounding music artists and DJ’s such as: Litz, Monsoon, Chad Nickell & The Loose Change, The Mighty Good Time, Cuba Cris, Payro the Dopest, Dan and the Fam, Psychotrope, The Actuals, Sono Lumini, Ganix, Waya, DJ CHVNNEL, and Volume. Sweetwater 420 Fest (Atlanta, GA)
Sweetwater 420 Fest is a 3 day event held at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA from April 29th- May 1st. (pre-party in the park advertised April 28th) After a nearly 2 year hiatus, Sweetwater is bringing back stellar music, food, drink (featuring Sweetwater lager) sustainability workshops, eco-centric vendors, and a plethora of 420 goodies! Their Planet 420 Eco-Village features accommodatable housing, public transportation, a solar powered trash compactor which is also accessible to vendors for waste disposal; and educational workshops that raise awareness and provide strategies for becoming more *green* in our daily lives! “For years, the Planet 420 Eco-Village has housed the majority of the environmental miracle workers who partner with us to raise awareness and pay tribute to this fabulous planet. Asheville Hemp Fest (Asheville, NC)
Asheville HempFest is a 4 day festival from April 20th-23. The festivities begin at 12pm and end at 11pm nightly. This community-centric event is all about love for the hemp plant! They collaborated with local hemp farmers, activists and educators, musicians, and a myriad of local artists to showcase such skills as: glass-blowing, fire spinning, and much more! Sounds like a pretty rad time, right? We couldn’t agree more! The Asheville HempFest will be held in Pack Square which lies in the beating heart of downtown. Instant Karma – Asheville’s one stop hippie shop – is setting the stage for their line-up of talented, local artists! Pennsylvania Cannabis Festival (Kutztown, PA)
Pennsylvania Cannabis Festival is a 2 day event held on April 23rd-24th at the Renningers Farmers Market in Kutztown, PA. This festival advertises free admission, free parking, and is both family and pet friendly! So you can bring the whole gang. They feature live music and art, 150+ canna-centric vendors and workshops, stellar food, and a variety of hemp products. Door’s open 10am-6pm. One of their primary sponsors, Best Damn Buds, is dedicated to ending the war on cannabis by providing advocacy and outreach resources! They’re committed to petitioning for criminal justice reform. The Roll Up Cannabis Festival (Northampton, MA)
The Roll Up Festival is a 3 day event from April 15th-17th at Three County Fairgrounds in Northampton, MA. Centered around 3 stages, this environmentally conscious festival features an amazing line-up of musicians such as: Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka, Griz, and much more! Benzinga Cannabis Conference (Fontainebleau Miami Beach, FL)
